HELD THIS YEAR IN MEMORY OF OUR DEAR FRIEND, SUPPORTER, AND “SHOT GUN RIDER” Terence Roach
Terry was a kind and caring person who has been helping with transports … some very difficult transports, for years…with his daughter Sue Monroe…Terry will be greatly missed.
That Newfoundland Place is approaching its 10-year mark in March, 2020. How fast that time has gone by!
In the almost 10 years since we started as TNP, 270 dogs to date … mostly Newfoundlands but other giant breeds as well, have come through our organization, passing through our gates in Coventry CT … being vetted and prepped for new homes. Additionally, we have been able to help dogs stay in their homes…with vet assistance, food assistance, etc., done some direct referrals, and have helped CATS in various situations.
Thank you to our TNP volunteers who help care for these dogs in need… from sending out our information to doing home checks to getting dogs to vet appointments, helping them heal after surgery, grooming, helping with our fundraising and helping keep our books in order!
We are grateful to our Vet, Dr Wendy Ernst and Kirby Vet hospital for everything they do for us … and believe me, it’s A LOT … well above and beyond the call of duty!
And we are so appreciative and grateful for our supporters … without your help, we would not be able to do what we do. We are humbled by the fantastic attendance and support at this years event and we thank you all each and every day!
